Dead By Dawn Reviewed in Bee's Knees by Eric Hernandez This is one of the best albums I have heard all year. Right away this band tugged at my heartstrings with their references to horror movies with almost every song. The lyrics are a lot like The Meteors, while the music itself closely resembles the best parts of Violent Femmes. An amazing mixture of pipe organ and punk riffs, Calibretto leaves a more than lasting impression with a relentless assault of catchy lyrics, haunting melodies and some of the most original music I have heard in a really long time. I can’t imagine anyway not liking this. It’s truly a perfect record.
